Contribute a poem

There are two ways for Strofia to grow: rescuing what already belongs to everyone, or bringing in what you are writing now.

    1 · Send it with its source

    Title, author, and where you got it: an edition, an archive, a digital library. The source isn't bureaucracy — it is what lets us check that the text is the right one and that the term has lapsed.

  2. 02

    2 · We check it

    We look at the author's date of death and the term that applies, and collate the text against at least one reliable edition. If something doesn't add up we tell you, rather than publishing it half-right.

  3. 03

    3 · It joins the catalogue

    The poem goes up with its author, its source work and its public-domain mark. If you contributed it and want the credit, you get the credit.

If the poem is yours Your work stays yours. Publishing it on Strofia assigns us no rights: you give us permission to show it, under your name, and you can withdraw it whenever you like by writing to us. If you also want to give it to the public domain, say so explicitly and we'll mark it that way — but that is your decision and it is not required to publish here.
